STONE TABLE

Description of Position: from hands and knees position shift weight forward to hands, straightening legs behind the body (like the up phase of a push up).

Muscles engaged:
legs, lower back, upper back, chest, core

Type of Position: Strength, Balance

Scriptural Cue:
1 Peter 2:5 You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Verbal Cue: Strength comes through God with time
Adjustments: Shoulder blades pressed together (flat upper back), mid section does not sag, elbows slightly bent, hands facing slightly in (15 degrees)

Modifications:
Decrease intensity dropping knees, keeping weight over hands
Increase intensity keeping legs straight, pressing shoulderblades in more, holding longer, slightly bending arms more, resting on elbows rather than hands
