Positions: Tabernacle

Tabernacle is a position of Strength and Flexibility. It is a reminder, metaphorically, that we have become the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. While in this position take a moment to first find the correct physical placement and then “rest” into it. Carrying God’s presence within us often comes with a learning curve so practice first for form and then when you are able, shift your awareness to the verse for the position.

From Foundation position (legs spread, feet facing forward, hinge at hips and then fold at waist bringing hands to the ground) walk hands forward several hand lengths. With a flat back shift weight back over feet, head in line with spine.

“For in the day of trouble He will
conceal me in His tabernacle; In
the secret place of His tent He
will hide me; He will lift me up on a
rock.” – Psalm 27:5
