January 26: Ark

This is where you will implement a transition from hands/knees to sitting.  From Holy Ground come to Hands/Knees, cross at the ankle and sit back into the Sitting Position.

From here we’ll begin to do core work in sitting positions.  Ark begins in sitting.  Contract at the abdominals, keep your core firm! Draw knees to chest and hold here for a moment with your hands. When you have your balance begin to release your legs and lean back into the position. Bring arms forward on either side of the legs.  Keep the core strong and tight to hold this position.  Be sure to breathe tension OUT of the neck area and you hold Ark.

“Let us go to His dwelling place; let us

worship at his footstool.

Arise O Lord, and come to your resting place,

you and the ark of your might.”
